Volleyball Recap: Junction City Bluejays vs. Topeka Trojans
Junction City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Topeka Trojans. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Saturday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16.
Junction City's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Topeka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-12.
Junction City has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Washburn Rural on the 5th. As for Topeka, they will head out on the road to face off against Independent on Thursday.
