Chavez scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ygnacio Valley Wolves. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alicia Clark, who posted 14 points. The dominant performance gave Clark a new career-high in points. Paulina Sanchez was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Sa'Rye Starks had a dynamite game for Ygnacio Valley, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 11 steals. Another player making a difference was Te'Aujanae Hill, who put up eight points in addition to 17 boards and six steals.

Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Ygnacio Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Chavez wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 38-4 win against Elite on the 28th. As for Ygnacio Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-30 defeat against Marin Academy on the 28th.
