Baseball Recap: Pembine/Goodman Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pembine/Goodman's offense. They lost 21-0 to the Wabeno/Laona Rebels on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-5 two weeks ago.

Pembine/Goodman's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Wabeno/Laona, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Pembine/Goodman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-5 victory against Three Lakes/Phelps on the 14th. As for Wabeno/Laona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Crandon on the 14th.
