Soccer Recap: Aztec Comes Up Short

Aztec was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Hatch Valley Bears. If Aztec were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to Hatch Valley when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Aztec's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Hatch Valley, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Aztec has already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Miyamura on the 23rd. As for Hatch Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 win against Hot Springs on the 23rd.
