Football Recap: Meade Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Meade extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-8. They fell 14-7 to the Arundel Wildcats. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Mustangs couldn't quite close it out.

K'Dyn Rogers threw for 137 yards and one TD. Zaire Willard was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Jayden Rumley rushed for 63 yards.

As for Arundel, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Meade: they've now won five in a row.

Naseem Tention continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 135 yards and one score, while also throwing for 32 yards and one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 130 rushing yards.

Meade and Arundel are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Mustangs will square off against Dundalk at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th. As for Arundel, they will be playing at home against North Point at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 1.9 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
