Basketball Recap: High Tech Mesa Takes a Loss

High Tech Mesa lost against San Diego Academy back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The High Tech Mesa Thunder took a 33-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Diego Academy Cavaliers. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

High Tech Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for San Diego Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Tech Mesa won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. High Tech Mesa's defense has only allowed 26.1 points per game this season, so Chula Vista Learning Community Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them. San Diego Academy has already played their next contest (against Gompers Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
