Softball Recap: Mount de Sales Academy Comes Up Short

Mount de Sales Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bulloch Academy Gators, falling 14-2. That's two games in a row now that the Cavaliers have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Mount de Sales Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubree Carlson, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Mount de Sales Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bulloch Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount de Sales Academy will square off against Calvary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bulloch Academy, they will challenge David Emanuel Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
