Basketball Recap: 20 Straight Home Victories for Sage Hill

It's playoff time, and Sage Hill had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Brentwood School Eagles with a sharp 59-39 victory on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Lightning, who have now won three games in a row.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelsey Sugar, who posted seven points and five steals. Sugar has been hot recently, having posted five or more steals the last three times she's played. Lev Feiman was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five boards and four blocks.

Sage Hill's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Brentwood School, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-9.

Sage Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-41 win against Windward on the 11th. Brentwood School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
