Ceron Townsend Game Report: @ DeSoto County

For the first time in his career, Ceron Townsend scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 62 receiving yards and one touchdown, helping propel Mulberry past DeSoto County by a score of 36-0. We rated that as his best performance since September 26th, when he made five total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Coming up, Townsend and Mulberry will square off against Frostproof at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since November of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
