Softball Recap: Milford Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Milford took on Freeman on Saturday. The Eagles lost 9-1 to the Falcons. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maeli Kubicek, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Freeman, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Milford will take on York at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freeman, they will challenge Fillmore Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
