Cate has gone a perfect 10-0 against Villanova Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. Cate's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Cate is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Grace on Thursday. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Lancers. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, Villanova Prep managed to keep up with Foothill Tech until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 4-0 to the Dragons. The shutout was out of character for Villanova Prep seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2025.

Villanova Prep now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Cate, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5-3.
