Baseball Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

Trinity Prep and William & Reed Academy pushed the score to 13-12 the last time they played William & Reed Academy, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Lions fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 13-12.

Trinity Prep's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for William & Reed Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
