Lone Grove had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Saturday. They came out on top against the Elgin Owls by a score of 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Longhorns also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Lone Grove's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 19-8.
