Softball Recap: Lincoln High Drops Highest Score of Season Against Bryan

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln High). They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Bryan Bears on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Links sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Evie Becher was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nora Davy, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Lincoln High was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Lincoln High's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-7. As for Bryan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lincoln High is set to face off against their familiar foe Fremont at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bryan will challenge rival Omaha South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
