Soccer Recap: Lagrange Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

With a playoff win on the line, LaGrange rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Peach County Trojans 5-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering LaGrange's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Peach County are ranked 250th).

LaGrange hit Peach County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ty Hollstrom (2), Steve Oh, Chandler Gholston, and Aidan Collins.

LaGrange's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Peach County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-5 record.

Looking ahead, LaGrange will venture away from home to face off against Oconee County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oconee County will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something LaGrange surely won't give up without a fight. Peach County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
