Softball Game Preview: Jenkins Warriors vs. Calvary Day Cavaliers

The Jenkins Warriors will take on the Calvary Day Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Jenkins and 16 for Calvary Day dating back to last season.

Jenkins lost 19-1 to Bryan County on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Calvary Day fell victim to Long County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Blue Tide, falling 17-0.

Jenkins' loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Calvary Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Jenkins took their victory against Calvary Day in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 32-24 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
