Soccer Recap: Valor Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valor Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Golden Demons. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Luke Edgar was handed one for Valor Christian, while Golden got theirs courtesy of Kieran Baker.

Valor Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Golden, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coming up, Valor Christian will venture away from home to face off against Grandview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Golden, they will welcome Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give Golden their first taste of in-conference action this season.
