Recap: Conestoga Christian Cougars vs. Coventry Christian
This season hasn't been kind to the Conestoga Christian Cougars, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They fell to Coventry Christian 20-15. Conestoga Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coventry Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Aubrey Weaver was Conestoga Christian's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Hannah Howell held things down on the boards with eight rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Emma Lasure was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored nine points.
Conestoga Christian bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Coventry Christian, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-6.
