Softball Recap: Legend Sets Scoring Season-High Against Thunderridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legend). They put the hurt on the ThunderRidge Grizzlies with a sharp 17-7 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on five straight.

The team relied heavily on Reese Bryant, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Lucy Thompson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.

Legend always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as ThunderRidge only posted an OBP of .333.

Legend's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for ThunderRidge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Legend has already played their next matchup, a 15-3 win against Cherry Creek on the 12th. As for ThunderRidge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-2 victory against Smoky Hill on the 12th.
