Fillmore has gone 8-1-1 against Hueneme recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Fillmore Flashes will challenge the Hueneme Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fillmore will head out to face Hueneme after giving up their first home loss of the season on Wednesday. Fillmore fell just short of Carpinteria by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Flashes seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Hueneme was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Santa Paula. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

Hueneme's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Fillmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1.

Fillmore took their win against Hueneme in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fillmore since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
