            Football Recap: Freeport Falcons vs. Poland Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Freeport had lost three straight on the road, but  on Saturday they dropped down to 4-3 to make it four. They lost  35-14 to the Poland Knights. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
As for Poland, they now  have a winning record of 4-3. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won three games by 21  points or more  so far this season.
  Damon Martin had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 21 yards and one  touchdown, while also throwing for 51 yards and one  TD. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  passer rating (109).
 Looking ahead, Freeport will welcome Dirigo  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Poland, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Maine Central Institute  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Huskies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.71  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
