Soccer Recap: Westside Starts Season with Loss at Home

Westside unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Josey Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Patriots couldn't quite close it out.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against West Laurens on the 11th. Josey will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hephzibah at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
