Baseball Recap: Douglas County Takes a Loss

Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They came up short against the East Coweta Indians, falling 16-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Douglas County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nayland Patton, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Douglas County's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for East Coweta, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

While Douglas County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
