Sutter triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Torrence Harter

Recap: Sutter Huskies vs. Wheatland Pirates

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marysville, the Sutter Huskies were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-36 victory over Wheatland. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sutter also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Torrence Harter was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 steals. Harter is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan O?Neal, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Wheatland's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reagan Clancy, who scored nine points.

Sutter has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Wheatland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Sutter will face off against Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sutter is facing Center at the right time seeing as Center is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wheatland, they will be playing at home against Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
