Soccer Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

If Freedom was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Pittsburg last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Freedom Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the College Park Falcons on Friday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Freedom couldn't quite close it out.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for College Park, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will welcome Deer Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for College Park, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Acalanes at 7:00 p.m.
