Baseball Recap: Sonoraville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sonoraville can now relate to. They fell just short of the Columbus Blue Devils by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Phoenix just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Sonoraville's loss dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Columbus, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-14.

While Sonoraville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
