Basketball Recap: Elsinore Takes a Loss

If Elsinore was feeling good fresh off their 53-25 takedown of West Valley last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Elsinore Tigers were beaten by the Temescal Canyon Titans 64-27 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-42 back in January.

Ahmani Browder was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 37 points and 18 rebounds for Temescal Canyon. The contest was Browder's seventh in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Sarai Kamweru, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 20 boards.

Elsinore's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Temescal Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

Elsinore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 85-18 loss against San Jacinto on the 5th. As for Temescal Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-58 victory against Tahquitz on the 5th.
