Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Imlay City). They enjoyed a cozy 22-6 victory over the Algonac Muskrats on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Muskrats: they've now won six in a row.

Imlay City's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Algonac, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Imlay City will look to defend their home field on Friday against Richmond at 7:00 p.m. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
