Softball Recap: Rome Takes a Loss

Rome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Coosa Eagles. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Madyson Thacker made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Rome's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Coosa, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-19.

As of now, neither Rome nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
