Basketball Game Preview: Bolsa Grande Matadors vs. Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros

Bolsa Grande is 1-9 against Rancho Alamitos since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bolsa Grande Matadors will head out to take on the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bolsa Grande comes in on three and Rancho Alamitos on five.

Bolsa Grande is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Century 61-20 on Friday. The Matadors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, everything went Rancho Alamitos' way against Saddleback on Friday as Rancho Alamitos made off with a 38-13 win. While fans of the Vaqueros might be used to big wins, the 25-point margin marked the team's biggest one yet.

Bolsa Grande has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Rancho Alamitos, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11.
