Soccer Recap: Yerba Buena Comes Up Short

Yerba Buena lost against Mt. Pleasant back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors fell just short of the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Aztec Warriors couldn't quite close it out.

Yerba Buena has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Yerba Buena didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-3 draw against Del Mar on the 4th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Hill on the 4th.
