Eastside and North Marion are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Rams will host the Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eastside has three straight wins, North Marion has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Eastside is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Sandalwood 43-14. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Saints are ranked 344th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Marion played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 28-6 to Dunnellon. The Colts were down 21-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Eastside, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Eastside against North Marion when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 29-0 win. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Colts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
