Basketball Recap: Sacramento Adventist Capitals vs. Faith Christian Lions        
        
		
            
 After a string of seven wins, the Sacramento Adventist Capitals's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They took a  46-28 bruising from Faith Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Sacramento Adventist has scored all season.
 Sacramento Adventist's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Jasmine Rodriguez, who  scored six points along with ten  rebounds and six  steals, and  Gwen Rosich who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and ten  rebounds. It was the first time this season that  Rodriguez  pulled down eight or more  rebounds.  Mikayla Meza was another key contributor,  scoring five points along with four  steals.
 Faith Christian found their leader in underclassman  Lauren Harris, who  dropped  a double-double on 29 points and 12  rebounds. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which  Harris has scored at least a third of Faith Christian's points. Another player making a difference was  Presley Berry, who  scored eight points along with 11  rebounds and three  steals.
 Sacramento Adventist's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-5. As for Faith Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacramento Adventist will  face off against the Lions at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Valley Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 250 points over their last four games. As for Faith Christian, they will head out on the road to  square off against  the Wolves at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 942nd, while the Lions are ranked 372nd).
