Softball Recap: Asher Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Asher's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stuart Hornets on Monday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Asher's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-3. As for Stuart, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Asher and Stuart should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Indians will face off against Wewoka at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (98 vs. 256). Meanwhile, Stuart (ranked 86th) will meet Tupelo (ranked 234th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
