Softball Recap: Bennett Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Bennett's offense. They came up short against the Montrose Red Hawks on Saturday, falling 13-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Bennett's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Montrose, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bennett will welcome Middle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Montrose, they will host Fruita Monument at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Hawks will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
