Baseball Recap: Henderson County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Henderson County's offense. They came up short against the University Heights Blazers on Monday, falling 12-0. The Colonels haven't had much luck with the Blazers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Henderson County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-15. As for University Heights, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 27-8.

Henderson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University Heights, they will head out to take on Madisonville-North Hopkins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blazers 3.6, the Maroons 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
