Mount Vernon took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the North Atlanta Warriors 16-1. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered an 8-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

North Atlanta is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Mount Vernon will be playing at home against Pace Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Atlanta, they will head out on the road to face off against Woodward Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
