Basketball Recap: Tioga's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Tioga's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the S & S Consolidated Rams 47-29. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tioga's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for S & S Consolidated, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Tioga and S & S Consolidated could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Tioga (ranked 1085th) will meet Collinsville (ranked 538th) at 6:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Similarly, S & S Consolidated will take on Pottsboro at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 958 places (1142 vs. 184).
