Basketball Recap: Vistamar Comes Up Short

Vistamar extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were dealt a 64-14 loss at the hands of the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-14.

As for Rolling Hills Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. That 50 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Rolling Hills Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kylie Sato out in front who shot 54% from the field en route to 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Regan Enright, who went 5-for-6 on her way to 12 points and four steals.

Vistamar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-16 defeat against Santa Monica on the 5th. As for Rolling Hills Prep, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bishop Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
