Basketball Game Preview: Colton Yellowjackets vs. Miller Rebels

The Colton Yellowjackets will take on the Miller Rebels at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Colton will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Indian Springs, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Colton took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-21 victory over Indian Springs. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Yellowjackets had established a 30 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Miller hadn't done well against San Bernardino recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way two weeks ago. Miller came out on top against San Bernardino by a score of 39-30. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Colton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Miller, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Colton came out on top in a nail-biter against Miller when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 53-50. Will Colton repeat their success, or does Miller have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
