South is 4-0 against Wiseburn- Da Vinci since December of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The South Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South is headed into Wednesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Brea Olinda.

Meanwhile, Wiseburn- Da Vinci was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Alta Loma 53-20.

South will have to keep a close watch on Kayla Muhammad-Flissinger and Halima Daniels, a pair of players who had a big impact on Wiseburn- Da Vinci's prior game. Muhammad-Flissinger posted seven points, while Daniels earned five points.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for South, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything came up roses for South against Wiseburn- Da Vinci in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 56-17 win. Does South have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wiseburn- Da Vinci turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
