Soccer Recap: Red Bluff Snags Ninth Victory in Last 12 Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pleasant Valley, Red Bluff was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Enterprise Hornets onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Hornets are ranked 869th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Taylor Perkins and Emery Plemons scored both of Red Bluff's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Red Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record this season. As for Enterprise, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Red Bluff will square off against Chico at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chico will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Red Bluff surely won't give up without a fight. As for Enterprise, they will take on Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
