Preview: West Mifflin Titans vs. Belle Vernon Leopards
West Mifflin and Belle Vernon are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The West Mifflin Titans will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Belle Vernon Leopards at 7:30 p.m.
West Mifflin suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They took a serious blow against Elizabeth Forward, falling 70-34. West Mifflin has not had much luck with Elizabeth Forward recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Belle Vernon posted their biggest victory yet this season on Saturday. They blew past South Allegheny 56-33. The win was just what Belle Vernon needed coming off of a 49-27 defeat in their prior game.
West Mifflin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Belle Vernon, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
West Mifflin beat Belle Vernon 33-23 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Does West Mifflin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Belle Vernon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
