Soccer Recap: ACE Charter Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for ACE Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Cindy Avitia Jaguars by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in January.

Dahra Ramos and Chelcy Sanchez scored all three of ACE Charter's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

ACE Charter's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Cindy Avitia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing KIPP San Jose Collegiate the next time they take the pitch. Cindy Avitia will head out to face KIPP San Jose Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while ACE Charter will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
