Football Recap: Windom Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Luverne, Windom was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers 22-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 27, 2024.

The win got Windom back to even at 2-2. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Windom will welcome Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they will face off against Jackson County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
