Josalyn Sergent gave up the fewest walks she has since back in August on Wednesday. She made a splash, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Archer back in August of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Sergent has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

Sergent's effort led Grovetown over Archer and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
