Softball Recap: Crossings Christian Comes Up Short

Crossings Christian came into this matchup off a tough seven-run loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Heritage Hall Chargers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Jestyn Jenkins spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits.

Crossings Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Heritage Hall, they pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Crossings Christian will face off against Blackwell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
