Baseball Recap: Long County Comes Up Short

Long County and North Hall squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Long County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 18-2. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Long County and nudges their season record down to 14-11. As for North Hall, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 25-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Long County by a score of 10-0 later that day.
