Hannah Miller posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. She struck out 14 batters over eight innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Miller and Omaha Westside will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Millard North at 6:30 p.m. Miller has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 7 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Mustangs have only allowed 2.5 per game this season.
