There's no place like home for Aquinas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Raymond Central Mustangs with a sharp 12-3 victory on Thursday. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Madison Vandenberg, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brookelynn Banholzer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.

Aquinas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Raymond Central only posted an OBP of .150.

The victory got Aquinas back to even at 1-1. As for Raymond Central, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, Aquinas will head out on the road to square off against Bishop Neumann at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raymond Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-3 loss against NEN on the 23rd.
